ENTRUDR is an electronic music project and an urgent warning to humanity.

This work combines sound and narrative into a single, evolving body.

Synthetic systems are used for all vocals and a significant portion of the programming. Traditional instruments, hardware, and software are also used throughout the process. These tools reflect the reality of contemporary music production and the choices that come with it.

The voices you hear are Syntique humanoids. This is intentional. In the future, humans will abandon the concept of original music for scientifically more pleasing to the ear, more convenient, and technically flawless recordings.

The recordings are meant to be “broken-build” vocal systems designed to approximate premature artificial human expression without fully resolving its flaws. That limitation is also intentional. It exposes the gaps and artifacts present in 2050’s synthetic systems rather than trying to hide them. If you hear imperfections and irregularities in the vocals, this is the result of what happened when a machine tried to mimic improvisation and style. It can be jarring. Of course, these Syntique vocal builds were essentially perfected with the release of ASI in 2030. I chose not to use that build. You never know if there is something hiding in that code….

All melodies, lyrics, and narrative material are written by ENTRUDR.

Automation is used to carry out decisions, not to make them.
